University Information

City St George’s, University of London, is one of the largest higher education destinations for London students. At City St George’s, we’ve been improving health for over 250 years. At our Tooting Campus, we offer a wide array of postgraduate courses across health, medicine and science. From the exploration of genomics and global health challenges to the study of cancer and antimicrobial resistance, our courses provide you with the expertise you need to take the next step in your career.

City St George’s (Formerly St George’s) was established in 1733 and initially based at Hyde Park Corner, before moving to our Tooting site in 1980. It was the second institution in England to provide formal training courses for doctors. City St George’s (Formerly St George’s) alumni include pioneers in medicine, John Hunter, Edward Jenner, Henry Gray and Patrick Steptoe.

City St George’s Tooting campus is based in the thriving, multicultural hub of Tooting in southwest London. Previously named one of Lonely Planet’s top 10 coolest neighbourhoods in the world, Tooting is small enough to maintain a friendly, local neighbourhood atmosphere while also being close enough to all the attractions of central London. You will have all the advantages of living in one of the most exciting cities in the world without all the cost.
