Funding Opportunities

We offer several funding options to support your studies:

·        Student Opportunity Fund – up to £2,000 to support career-enhancing activities

·        Social Work bursaries – available for eligible MA Social Work students

·        Graduate Teaching Assistant studentship – for selected PhD students

·        PGCE Bursaries – up to £29,000 for eligible Secondary PGCE students

·        Teacher Training Scholarships – worth up to £30,000 in selected subjects

For international students we also offer a postgraduate excellence scholarship worth £3,000 towards tuition fees and the GREAT scholarship which waivers tuition fees for successful eligible candidates for applicants from selected countries.

Applications are open for our full range of postgraduate courses. If you’re interested in teacher training, apply for your PGCE through GOV.uk as soon as possible. Places are allocated as they are received, so we recommend applying as early as possible.
